L2TP Setup Guide For iPhone




Step 1

Choose Settings icon on the main screen

 

Step 2

Choose General >  Network on the left-hand side of the screen.

 

Step 3

Choose VPN on the right-hand side of the screen and Select Add new configuration on the right-hand side of the screen.

 

Step 4

Choose L2TP option near the top of the window that opened up.

 

Set  the following configuration:

  • Description - SwitchVPN
  • Server - [ PPTP / L2TP Server Hostname / Server Address in Welcome Email OR Click here to view list of Server Address ]
  • Account - VPN Username
  • RSA SecurID - OFF
  • Password - VPN Password
  • Secret  - [ L2TP Secret in Welcome Email ]
  • Send All Traffic - ON

Click on Save

 

Turn VPN on or off

Once you've created a VPN configuration, the option to turn VPN on or off appears in the main Settings screen. When you are connected using VPN, the VPN icon appears in the status bar.
